An acronym for Successful Teens with, Knowledge, Experience, and Determination, STOKED Mentoring is a nonprofit organization gives at-risk youth an opportunity to discover action sports. This unique organization gives teens a chance to explore surfing, snowboarding, and skateboarding. Through such programs, they are not only exposed to sports they might not otherwise be involved with, but they are able to develop resiliency, determination, and success, in ways that are more tangible and lasting than lessons in a classroom.
